I just came across this on my nephew's MySpace page. Someone left it as a comment on his page:
My roots are in Alabama's sod,
I'm southern by the grace of God,
Bear Bryant taught me the meaning of pride,
my pledge if allegiance is "Roll Tide."
Things like this make me want to stab my own eyes out.

Well, of course he uses it as an exclamation point, but I bet he also uses it as a salutation and a goodbye.
Never trust a people who try to invent their own Aloha.
